Measuring the Pressure of Air Inside an Inflatable Using a Manometer
We place a premium on your safety when it comes to the commercial inflatable you hire from us. No one has to be reminded to check the tyre pressure of their car or truck at regular intervals. In a similar vein, we use a manometer or Magnehelic pressure to precisely measure the air pressure within an inflatable device, adhering to the procedures explained in this piece.
1) A manometer or differential pressure gauge, like a Magnehelic pressure gauge, is available for use with all our inflatables. These tools can be used to measure the static pressure in water gauges. Several variables, like the inflatable's size, its age, the blowers, the power supply, and the usage of extension cords, will affect the static pressure measurement.
2) Then, we carefully check the drain valves and zippers on the bottom of your inflatable to make sure they are completely closed and inflated to their greatest capacity. We check to make sure the blower is big enough for the inflatable and that there is enough juice for the blowers in the circuit.
3) we deflate the inflatable just enough to fit the tube inside of it by opening one of the deflation zippers. We give extra attention to closing the vinyl flap and the zipper. Then we may choose between a Magnehelic pressure gauge and a manometer.
4) We make a note of the reading in our maintenance log and compare it to the manufacturer's minimum static pressure recommendations.
5) We'll have to examine the CFM (cubic feet per minute) rating of the blower in use to make sure the inflatable you are hiring from us is getting enough output. There may be a problem with the stitching if the CFM figure from the blowers is correct but the static pressure value is low. Air can escape through torn or missing flaps or zippers, holes, or strained stitching. It is imperative that you verify the problem has been resolved prior to utilising the inflatable.
Thank you for reading; these inspections are performed to ensure the safety and satisfaction of everyone who uses the inflatable that you hire from us.
