1) Ensure that children are dressed in an age-appropriate manner. Wearing long trousers and long sleeves is something that we strongly advise, particularly if you have reserved one of our Castles with Slides.
2) Always make sure to wear socks! This can prevent so many problems, and is such a simple solution.
3) If you want to avoid heat fatigue, just use the inflatable for brief periods at a time and ensure that the children drink plenty of water in the breaks.
4) Apply and reapply sunscreen often, preferably one with a high SPF and UVA rating. Before using the inflatable, please make sure to let it twenty minutes for it to completely absorb the solution. This will help prevent any stains and ensure that it has been effective.
5) Because the safety mats can get EXTREMELY hot, we strongly advise turning them over on a regular basis.
6) The step up onto the castle may also grow warm, so we would advise lightly soaking some old towels and placing them over the step to reduce the amount of direct contact that little knees and hands have with the surface. Even though the main bed in the castle should be OK because each of our castles has a light canopy over it, you should still exercise caution and confirm that the bed is secure before using it by resting the back of your hand on the actual bed.
7) Before our operators set up, please let them know if there is a better region or position in your garden to place the castle. This will result in less of the castle being in direct contact with the sun, which will not only protect the children but will also extend the life of our inflatable. However, after it has been anchored into the ground, please DO NOT relocate the castle until we have departed from the area.
Because the temperature tends to be at its highest between the hours of 12 and 3 in the afternoon, you should make every effort to refrain from using the Castle during this time without the above safeguards in place.
Do you wish you could spend more time at the castle? Enquire about overnight hire to experience the castle when the temperature is significantly lower.
9) Children should be kept well away from the blower that is located at the back of the castle at all times. The blower is constructed of metal, and the surface of the blower may get extremely hot to the touch.
10) Please do NOT bring any water onto the castle! In spite of the fact that this may seem like a good idea at the moment and that it may temporarily reduce the temperature of the surface, it will in fact have the opposite effect and cause the Vinyl that covers the castle to become EVEN HOTTER when the sun shines on it. Additionally, it makes things incredibly slippery, which increases the risk of slipping, falling, and injuring oneself, which is an absolute no-no.
Lastly, remember, first and foremost to have fun and be careful out there in the sun - it can get very hot - especially from 12noon to about 3pm.
